Said it on SuFo, but I'll say it again.

THAT CAR IS SUPER SEXAY!!!! Please take me for a ride... I'll let you drive my super cool 240. It's a lot like your IS, but with 2 less cylinders and a turbo less than half the size of yours.

If I had the money now, that would be my current project. I still plan on doing that as my next project though (unless I decide to go Datsun)

If you don't mind me asking, how much did all of that cost? Also, how much power can a 2jzge w/ vvti hold? And would you recommend going with the getrag 6 or is the stock 5-speed good?

Thanks, Johann

Cannot can the MAF sensor....Many tuners have tried but failed it just doesnt work lol..Also problem with me is using a NON vvt-i head when the Stock IS300 ECU is looking for vvt-i so we had to chenge to SC300 throttle body as well ...being the IS throttle body was controlled by the VVT-i....SO we have some things to work out but it will run like a beast...

Very nice and so far clean project. What are your expectations for this venture? Did you start with a completely good IS or was it a wrecked car you picked up? If not, can I meet your boss or your family

Matt, congrats on the business.(thumbsup) I'll try to remember ya when I don't have to save for retirement anymore and can splurdge on some nice kick's for the kar. I'll ask again, what are your expectations for your car performance wise? Or is your project a way of making a statement without performance in mind and maybe more geared for show? Either way as said before it looks like a very nice subdued(sp?) pirana-inocent enough until its hungry.

holy jesus man, that is beautiful......i have one but it is completely stock i am waiting for a few more months before i do the SRT turbo kit, but i was wondering, the write up on the turbo IS300 done in super street said that the stock ECU gives sooo many problems, and i know you are running standalone, but have you experienced any problems with the "auto learning" ecu that is supposed to be the shiznit in the alteeza? turbo XS says they done know how to make it work, but how come others can? i just dont want to blow 6 grand down the tubes
