dyno run!! more than i thought..
..alot more than i thought i would have. 302RWHP. i have a misfire because of the cooler night air. still hade 1500rpm left to go too. chris was there.

were you able to get those runs saved onto a floppy disc? cuz i think yo ucan down load a view from dynojet's website to post pics of dat shizzle...
i was SOO surprised to see that much power come out of it... i was guessing 260-280ish on a BONE STOCK 1JZ and STOCK BOOST w/ just an AutoZone filter, DP, Test pipe and cat back... holy crap i was amazed..
only one thing... whats w/ the smoke? can you do a compression test on that thing at some point?
I remember you guys talkin about what was wrong w/ it and scott said it should have been able to get 320ish on a full run... usually, a misfire is a big stutter, a little harsher than a Rev limiter. Like if the spark plug gap was too big or the spark was simply too weak for the amount of pressure in the cylinder and it was gettin blown out... it would stutter like a rev limiter. It happens on our DSM sometimes... what happend on the dyno was Fuel cut... and i dont get it at all. Fuel cut at stock boost makes no sense to me at all... and its funny that it cut out right at the 300 HP mark... must be coincidence... either way, im impressed. makes me wanna do a 1JZ when my 7M blows up.

yea i am pissed about it. i am going to get some good plugs and see what the hell is up. the smoke is just seals going in the turbos. the ct12a turbo is weak on many fronts. some day i will upgrade. right now i am working on paint and the misfire.
