Forums you would like to moderate
Mazdatech technical section
Mazdatech FS/WTB section
Specific car knowlege:
Pretty extensive knowledge and history of rotary engines and mazda cars in general, not to mention piston engines as well, I also do most of the work on my own car and am starting to delve into the actual EFI tuning aspect of rotaries (which is much more complicated than reciprocating engines) I read a ton, always reading about cars, as well as aerodynamic's and more in depth engineering in building very well designed cars I am pretty well balanced
Any experience at moderating:
None on forum boards, but don't let my low post count discourage you, I mostly stay in the Mazdatech forum and it's really slow there, our one mod hasn't even logged in since July, which is why I am applying for this spot
The main job of a moderator is:
Keep everyone in check and make sure no one is violating forums rules and regulations... It's pretty straight forward.
Why should you become a moderator:
I stopped using TR for a while when I was going to school in San Diego for a year but since I got back it's been REALLY dead in the Mazdatech section, more dead then it used to be. Lately it has started to pick up and even though many people don't post there, we need a Mod in that section. Current mod doesn't hardly ever log on, I feel like I should take over and make sure everything goes smooth there. Also concerning the FS section, I want to make sure that no BS is going on there since when it comes to buying and selling rotaries, a lot of bad motors get sold, so I will probably want to make new rules/regs for certain items and how they are to be sold...
Users who do not like me:
No one that I know of
Closing statement:
I have a lot of time to spend on this site seeing as I barely work and all my time goes to either schoolwork or messing around. So I think I would be perfect for making sure everything stays nice and clear in MT.
