Default No Harm To Experiment

I agree. If it doesn't do any good promoting our hobby/sport, then the powers that be can always abolish it.

Look at how many people have signed on with the old school DC's Ef's, etc.-Bob

If Bob is willing to moderate it then you might as well give it a try.

I volunteer to MOD it if you decide to create it... Since it stems back to Bob & me anyways..

This is what I helped set up for the 8 clubs/crews in the H/A Area:
https://www.tamparacing.com/forums/h...n-up-here.html

I currently head up the EF Crew (200+ members) which is by far the biggest crew/club on TR & used to also run the DA Crew (100+ members) which is the 2nd biggest crew/club on TR. I also helped start and assist most of the crews in the H/A Area.

I all ready babysit the H/A Crews and could oversee the Forum if you decide to do it.

I think it is a good idea and a Clubs & Crews Forum either near the News or General area would be a good addition to the site.

Just, Let me know if you do it...

I think it has its ups and downs. I have been on TR since the beginning and have been in and started a few of the bigger Crews/Clubs in the area. I will shorten it to Clubs because Crew sounds so gangster now...lol. The problem is some will be legit and some will be BS. But who is to decide. I think you should really think the rules out on what counts as a recognized Club by TR. Also will the Clubs be only limited to the Tampa Area? Florida Area? US? I think you should set it up like the shop section. There are some Clubs there now anyway, i.e. Jokie Tuning. Most Clubs start and then a "shop" comes from it.

I think the best way to help the car community is to clean up the site(easier said then done), clean up the shop section, then create a Club section. In the rules mention that TR does not promote violence and blah blah to cover TR and the owners. This is a fine line in my opinion for TR and may help promote new events and meets, but do we really need more?
