have a forum for those that have theyre cars, trucks, off roads vehicles stolen. they can have details, pix, contact info ect. available in a thread of theyre own.

and ? thats good if there is alot. it would b like the classifieds for stolen cars. u can view , read and b on the look out.
it would eliminate having them in the for sale forum, and having them deleted or closed for not placing them in the correct area... which there isnt !

The downside is that people are going to browse GCC daily, but nobody will go into the stolen cars section unless they are looking for their own or their friends'. The way I could see it working is if you uploaded a picture of the stolen car, and whenever someone logs into TR, you'll get a pop-up window (with the small picture and and a link to the 'stolen' thread), of any cars that have been added since your last login. It might be a little annoying, but it wouldn't be any more than 1/week on average, and if EVERYONE on TR sees an image of the car, they'll be much more likely to spot it and recognize it.

 

To add to Troux's comment.. maybe an option to turn that off for people that don't care.

 

let us think it over, idea has merits but adding more forums might not be the right way.. perhaps we can do it another way.
