Looking at the positions of the new admins in noticed that we are going to have a Ride of the month section... I would like to publicly state that while this is an intresting idea, it is a bad one that will only end in a massive flame war. We have such a vast varriety of members on this forum, with a large varriety of diffrent tastes. Even if the admins choose X amount of cars and a have members vote on the car they like best there will still be problems. There will be accusations of the admins and moderators being biast towards certain people and certain types of vehicles. The only way that at ROTM section would be feasable would be to have the admin/ mod in charge of the section be a completly nuetral party that does not own a car or have friends on this forum... Its never gonna happen. I ask the admins to reconsider the additon of this section to the new site.

 

 

Point taken but I dont agree.

Its a little hard to sit and tell me how ROTM is going to work when you have zero details, lets let DareDevil get it off the ground and run through it a few times to shake out the bugs before we throw it under the bus.

If I see its not working out just right, I'll ask him to make some changes.

Concerning this Matter,

ROTM is for TR. Its not for me or Zate, But for you, the people of TR. I know that i cant make everyone happy, but i will try as hard as i can for the majority.

Any changes that we make is solely for the purpose of trying to make TR better, and the People of TR happier. Granted, there will be bugs at first. But That is to be expected, as with anything new.

But continue to use the Help TR forum to its fullest, your input is the only way to realize something needs to be changed.

Well I'm glad to see this is being approached in a reasonable manner. My initial fear was that a new section was just going to be slapped on that would degrade into a massive flame war. Daredevil I'm curious as to what you have in mind to handle ROTM nominations?

 

I think there should be seperate nomies for Domestic,Japanese and Euro or something to that effect and each have ther own winners.
