Gates open Friday 8pm till 1am.

Anyone plan on going this Friday? I'm not planning on taking my heap down the quarter...need to make sure my clutch and tranny survive until year's end...but might head down if a big group decides to go. Regardless, figured I would post to see who's interested.

i might roll down there with you but i won't be racing either
new engine but it might be fun to watch
also need to put some miles on it so i can drive it like it was ment to be driven sooner

Have your heads shown up yet? Is the block mounted and ready for all the external plumbing, etc? I'll stop by to say hi to the car on Saturday...assuming me wheels are back. 
It's looking like I might not be able to make it either. Not sure yet. We'll see.
Dirt Man - Any chance you'd be down to drive? I might be goin' out to dinner and having a few drinks prior.

nope heads won't be here for three weeks so i decided to put them on later and waste some more money 
by the way thats mastro poking me for more money
the block has to be machined as well so who knows when they will get that back or when i will get my car back

3 weeks!! I thought the guy told you they had shipped??? You need to send Zate over to have a word or two with thsoe Aussies in their native language...apparently the ones you're dealing with do not understand the meaning of ASAP.
They didn't machine the block for bigger head studs? Wouldn't that be a prerequisite when building up a race motor?? Bad times man, bad times.
