To the dyno day. Can't remember if Bill said you guys would be there. Assumed you would be, but figured I'd ask anyway.

I'm hoping to get my oh-so-fast-and-oh-so-furious racing seat in the car tonight. Let's just hope that side airbag doesn't go off and kill me in the process.

Yes I will be here Saturday. I don't know if Bill will be here or not.

Just make sure you disconnect the battery when you take your seat out. BTW your airbag light will stay on.

Check on both counts. So long as the other airbags work, it's cool. Seat went in pretty easily, as did the belts. Getting in and out is not really a problem, but tightening the lap belt definitely is. Going to have to see if I can do something about that.

what we did with the audi seats in my friends car, if you have the balls just vut the plug off the seat about an inch up the wire and solder the 2 together, or just somehow connect the 2 wires so theres still a signal, not sure if the scoob's need a resister or not

Had to put the stock seat back in. I've got this nagging back problem, my reminder of 5 years of stocking shelves at Publix. The seating position ended up a little more vertical than I need and after about 20 minutes this slow ache starts creeping up my lower back. Thought this farging stuff was long behind me, but apparently it's not. I have similar problems on long drives with the stock seats...one of the reasons I've been looking at seating options.

The seat's lateral support is AMAZING, as you'd expect I suppose. Felt like I was directly linked to the car's suspension. This seat would be perfect for auto-crossing.

Now I've got to sell the damn thing. Bummer.

p.s. Sorry for high jacking this thread. The STi is the goodness!!
