unbolting exhaust, power difference?
if u unbolt the rear section on a stock WRX, will it make any power difference in increase or decrease? how about if you had a aftermarket downpipe and a unbolted rear section? mastro done any dynos on this? thanks

i run a dumppipe right off the downpipe for the track and you can feel nice gains in 3rd in the higher rpm but i run a garret 500 and i don't think you would feel anything but low end torque loss with the stock turbo
but it does sounds pretty mean wish i could drive around all the time like that without getting pulled over but i already got a ticket for it

Have to agree on the sound. Run an open downpipe to an HKS Ca/Ti catback and the sound is awesome! Love the way the low sonics fill the cabin.
