On the agenda of upgrades. If i purchase a upgraded TMIC(dont really care for FMIC), will it void the warranty?

Theoretically anything you do to you car can void the warrenty. Even Subaru's STi/SPT parts they sell say that right on them.
As far as we go here if it is installed properly and the problem you have has no direct effect from the intercooler them we would do our best to take care of it.
