EJ20 Engine Management II
another quick question guys. Can tuning the stock ECU remove the common problem (running rich) associated with 100% venting BOV's for this engine?
Just wondering because i know they make a Super Sequential kit for the WRX now and its my fav.

Do you mean i'd lose more performance from the bypass vs bov point of view, or more performance since it's venting 100% over lets say 50%?
I know it's a large debate, but isn't a BOV also better for the life of the turbo?

your car already has a BOV/bypass that works perfectly fine..
anything is purely for noise /wank factor (as the brits say.. lol) and wont gain you anything except perhaps maintain boost a *touch* higher between shifts.. what it will do is richen stuff up and upset your eCU a little..
that being said..i had one.. i still have it around some where if you want to buy it.. $50..its a blue GFB Hybrid.. IMO one of the better ones as it doesnt vent 100%

I like the noise of the turbo xs type h...all whooshy kinda
there's some white wrx with out of state plates (they're green) and has the nicest sounding bov i've ever heard. It makes like 3 really fast Psh noises..all rally style and sheite

AHA! So thats why my car is running that way, I have an hks super sequencial bov and my car is running very rich, and it has actually stalled a few times... also i have an hks downpipe, hks cat back hyper exhaust and a generic cold air intake... can any of you guys tell me how to fix this problem? possibly a feul computer???
