Continental series update, finally some results
You know about Daytona, qual'd 4th, was taken out of the top ten on the last lap by a Mustang in the chicane.
Barber- Qual'd (as I recall) 3rd, ran second most of the day, came back from a pitstop in 13th and worked our way back up to 2nd with 40 minutes left to go when the rear diff let go.
Homestead- Qual'd first (a 911 Porsche was actually faster but was thrown out on a technical violation) so we had the track record and the pole. We finished 3rd in the race behind the two 911s. We led the first 19 laps in the rain and came from 8th spot to second in the last 10 minutes. Be sure to watch this one May 12th.
