I refuse to call it "Mazda raceway"
We qualified 6th, and found the transmission acting a little strange so we changed it out. A BMW got into us at the start, no problem, after about an hour we did a driver/ 4tire/ fuel stop and were back in the pack, but on a good strategy to work our way up front as the leaders pitted. Our driver tried a little aggressive move on the outside of a BMW, it looked ( from the in car) that the driver behind the BMW hit him and he hit us putting us into the tire barrier. The rack was shifted but the car was still handling well enough to record lap times better than the leaders. Then on the last corner a mustang went off. the guy tried to save it and came across the track into the Subi, about a lap later the front suspension collapsed. So we DNF'd.
We just can't get a break, every time we cycle into the pits, we get killed coming back up through the pack.
