We qualified second next to the Multimatic Mustang driven by Foster and Maxwell. both (IMO) who are hammerheads, they were penalized for dumping a BMW last race at VIR and now we were about to be on their list. After about 8 laps, the Imprezia driven by Spaude went to pass the mustang, for the lead, they turned into us, twice, tearing up the left side of the car and turning us into the path of a BMW who t-boned the right side. After coming in for a two tire change and repairing the door damage on the right side we went a lap down, which we were able to make up. With Heinricy driving. We set and reset fastest lap 3 times, even with all of the damage to the car. Later in the race we got together with the Multimatic car again and were penalized with a drive through penalty. Finally, we were rear ended by another competitor and had to come in to remove the rear bumper. The car finished the race with the Multimatic team in our pits whining about something. The car had every panel bent except the roof, hood rear deck and the front bumper. The pics of the car after the race by Subi fans were unbelievable, they couldn't believe the car even finished, let alone finished 12th. This was a good track for this car, we really were robbed from a podium finish. The team has only a couple of days to turn the car around for Watkins Glen, Wednesday practice, stay tuned.
