Default New subie owner

I just bought a 04 STI, and the only question i have is the front brakes pop sometimes when I stop. Is this normal? It has the brebmo brakes on it. Any subie owners in the Sarasota area?

When I reverse and use the brakes and then when I'm coming to my first stop going forward, they will "pop." My take is because of the monoblock caliper and the pads being held on by a couple pins. That's the only time I hear a pop however.

Congrats on the scoob!

Are you positive its the brakes? 04-05s have noticable dt clunks during shifting.

Pad knockback. Very common and nothing to be worried about.
