Default A/c compresor problem

So I turned on my a/c today on my 04 sti and is blowing hot air,i open the hood to check and the compresor is not moving, I check the relay and they are good, check the fuses in the car and they are good. I was thinking it might be low on freon thats why the compresor is not kicking in? I need help! Let me know your toughs or if you have a.compresor

I have a compressor if you need it.

It can be of several things, theres a leak, theres no oil for the clutch internally for the compressor or its not pluged in correctly for the voltage to initiate the clutch.

It might be a waste of time, but try charging it. $20 bucks at Autozone and cheaper than having someone look at it. I haven't heard about too many of these compressors failing, but I think it's pretty common for the expansion valves to go bad. Were you getting a crunching sound from the compressor when it cycled on and off?
