Turbo timers aren't needed on Subaru turbos because they oil and water cooled. If I do happen to do some spirited driving in our 06 I just let it idle for 20-30 seconds rather than the few minutes or so that a turbo timer does.

Remove the blow off valve. Your gas mileage, response, and practically everything will get better.
