For those recommending the G8 GT, having driven my father in laws, it is a good car, but the suspension is way too soft, even floaty. Coilovers would be the first thing on the list, but that goes against Matt's suggestion of no mods.

06 Lotus Elise, 06 Corvette, 06 Porsche Cayman (prolly just a tad over $30k), 06 Audi S4, or you can do like I did and get an 09 STi...Hello this is a Suby forum.

Charger SRT-8 or 300C SRT-8.... might not handle too good, but they pull good in a straight line. 6.1L HEMI V8 has plenty of power when you need it, and the car drives like a Mercedes. I think that would be a good car. G8 is a good bet too. Maybe a Porsche Cayman S or even a slightly older Porsche Carrera. I've also seen a couple 1995 Ferrari F355 Spyder's going around $30,000 if you really want exotic.
