Default Anyone can bend/weld piping for i/c?

Hey im new to the area and i am thinking about going to a composite intake manifold off a legacy and a legacy throttle body to make a reversed intake manfold setup easier and i would just need to buy a i/c core and need someone to build the pipes.

Any recommendations would be great thanks!

You might want to weigh the gains of a reverse manifold to how much time and money you will spend in the process.

What are the supporting mods?

The gains from running a composite intake mani is cooler/denser air which means efficiency, a chance of making more power than a stock sti Aluminum intake mani which can get up to 185*F after a couple of hard runs when the composite wont get above 85*F. Heat absorption properties of the plastic are so much better than aluminum anyways.

I was gonna do a rotated 35/.82r since this is not a going to be a street car since i can't afford the damn insurance.

Motor is gonna be built first. Top to bottom. No steps are gonna be skipped.

I dont really want to spend the money on a perrin fmic or aps or full-race, UR, AMS, etc etc.
When you can do rotated intake mani just need to buy GS phenolic gaskets-$65, Mishimoto fmic-$380, tial bov flange-$22, tial bov-$230, Used lgt intake mani-$100
just need piping lets say ($400 rough estimate), ill then spend $1,200 and have a proper kit will a little faster spool, and cooler temps in my intake mani and save 3 ft or piping than doing a traditional FMIC kit. Maybe even clock the turbo to make piping shorter.

So would i want to spend $1,200-$1,400 on more piping, which means a little more lag,
if i go this root ill still need a -Bov & flange($250), and i would have to modify the pipe going to the turbo anyways to work with the rotated turbo.

Here's the setup on a sti done properly.
Fine Line Imports

Yeah it would be some work, but way worth the money for how efficient it would be.
