Exhaust Leak
Car: 2005 STI
Issue: Exhaust Leak where turbo meets downpipe.
Question: How serious of an issue is this? My mechanic says I "SHOULD" be okay to run tomorrow night at the track, but I think a second opinion never hurts. Main issue is mechanic is out of town till Tuesday, and I have 0 access to lifts/tools/etc since mine are all packed in storage for the move back home.

So,ur not over here yet? I would not run with a leak.Thats my Imo,wait to u get over here fix it and go to the track With us

Yeah the guy that did the work is fixing it on Tuesday. The leak isn't THAT bad, but it makes the turbo sound weird when it spools, but can clearly hear the leak when under the car. Going to attempt to wrench it down tighter in hopes that I can still run tonight. Haven't tracked this car yet, and with the 382whp/tq the tuner road dynoed it at, I'm kinda anxious to see what it will run here at 3800ft
