so i have a 06 wrx with wf39 and others! i still have stock intercooler with 19 psi. should i upgrade to sti top mount or a front mount intercooler? ive heard different sugestions. and if you may have parts let me know very interested. oh and if i do a intercooler swap do i need a tune? thanks!!!

 

depends on your goals and future mods. IMO, FMIC all the way especially here in FL. You will need a retune to take advantage of the full benefits of the FMIC.

 

My 08 sti has made over 500whp on the stock tmic. However, I'm moving up to a Cosworth fmic now. If you are interested in my old tmic, call Bobby at S&R. Imslow is right about needing a retune, so you might want to combine the new ic with any other mods you are considering, to make the best use of your tune dollar.
