I believe my STi is possessed.
I think it broke a record yesterday. Fully built motor, not more than 20 minutes on idle and the timing belt tensioner goes. Driver side head compression? 0. F'n 0. Now to find out how many bent valves I have.
Joe, the car will be ready for the tune. It will be. And if it dies on the dyno, I will f'n burn it, put it on video and then on to Youtube.

nope i got you beat like 2 years ago maybe 7 min at idle. buy buy pistons head and valves. the timing belt was sill good though. lol they tried again and it made it to the dyno and that was about it. needless to say i found a new shop and havent talked to them since.
anyway, keep going it will be worth it. i hope it gets beter for you. we need as many fast subys as possible there to many people that dont believe. lol gl

Joe, the tensioner went bad.
Here is a picture of the passenger side head. Compression check was great on this side. Even so, check this out.
The two intake valves have the piston stamp on it. The driver side head was not completely off the block. I will know tomorrow how many valves I need to replace. My guess, all 4 intake valves are shot. The compression on that side was 0.
Yay.
