You just need a passport.

I heard a non national coming to the US is a lot harder then just a passport. Remember the US is the only country that treats it visitors as criminals.

I travel to Canada once a year and going into Canada takes like 5 minutes, coming back into the US is a pain. They always act like I am bringing in drugs, explosives or trying to kill the president.

I didn't have any issues getting into Japan or back into the US. The only reason coming back home sucked was due to weather so all flights were delayed. But they just checked my bags and looked at my ID and passport.

No doubt getting into Japan was easy.

When you came back where you with a group or did you use a travel service?
