Default pulled my motor today

well i finally quit being lazy and pulled the motor in my subaru just felt like sharing my awesome pictures

yes it really broke like this and it is going to be a awesome keychain


lots of metal



i think it was the easiest motor i have ever pulled hopefuly my heads are still good so i can get this thing on the road soon.

what are the plans? oem rebuild?
looks jsut like mine did....

yeah im just doing a oem rebuild. i bought the car with rod knock and shot the rod through it the same day. i figure i will have some fun stock and do some upgrades later.


hopefuly my heads dont look like yours...

Along with the help of the guys at the machine shop I fixed that head. It was only that chamber that was really damaged. Luckily enough the other cylinder that the piston broke didnt touch the head. The rod was completely bent but once everything happened the motor locked up instantly, my guess. I bought the car blown up. Good luck with the build man
