So like I said Im a noob with Subaru's, but I love them so much. I pretty know the basics of them but thats it. I want to buy why when I get back from my first deployment, but don't want to be bullshitted. So if some one can help me out to understand the Subaru language, it would be greatly appreciated.

As much as you can tell or show. I just want to know as much as possible, because I know rx7 and some 240sx, but I know little of Subaru or really Impreza.

 

Yea but what your asking is a huge variant of evertything start by giving something specific and we can broadin off of that.

What year wrx are you looking to get? lets start off at that

 

either a early 90s impreza or a 06-07 one. i had a chance to get a 94 impreza but i didnt because it need new cvs and i didnt know how big of a job it was. please tell me i did screw up by not buying it...

 

I do not know much about older imprezas. I own a 2002 wrx.

I wouldnt recommend buying an 02-03 wrx unless you want to do a tranny swap they are like glass . 04+ Have much better trannys. As for buying one do what any normal car buyer would do test drive to see if you like them. Take it to a trusted mechanic subaru is prob the best place to take it to will cost some money but worth it.

 

i see, and yeah my friend owned a 2006 wrx sti and the first thing he did was tranny work. he ended up selling it with 600hp to some kid who wrecked it in orlando.

dont worry i dont plan on it, i really dont like bug eyed wrx's though, i really wish i could find a 22b.
