2010 WRX STi SE
2010 Subaru Impreza WRX STI SE at the 2009 LA Auto Show - autoevolution
hmmmm I was intrested until I saw they notched up suspension/wheels by 1 and then took away HID, Auto AC and nice sound system.
Plus they are making a limited number of them in Aspen White only, but later they are going into full production?????? So if you wait they can work out all the bugs and you can get it in any color you want.

and maybe by then the SE with come with HIDs again after a flood of complaints that they didn't... seems silly to me that they don't. almost like a tuner ready version but (a little) better suspension and wheels.
If it was a little bit lighter I could see this being a success... but it isn't.
I think the economy has affected the 2 year re-design thing. I always said that it was a waste of money to come up with an entire new design every 2 years.

agreed on the economy and design correlation. shame though. its always fun to see what subaru will come up with next. i like the idea of a different design every couple of years, gives you body options while the performance stays (relatively) the same.
Well that bodystyle has grown on me a little but was still hopeing for a change os the wrx 5-speed still the same or did they beef it up abit since it has more power to handle

They should have made it more track oriented (IE Japanese Spec C). Thinner windows, lighter body panels, CF roof, better seats, less sound deadening, no radio, upgraded internals/oiling etc, etc.
Granted the price would jump up to $40k and hardly anyone would want to buy them, but with only 125 in the US, some may buy a track friendly STi.
