Default 205 Build Pics

They sent me spirolox to hold the wrist pins in. For the inside they are fine. Not so much for the service side. Now I'm sourcing different clips...

.018 for the top, and .020 for the second.

Main bearings don't tend to spin to spin like rods do, and overall they are on the wider side.

What were your clearances?

i gapped my rings .024 top and .026 bottom cause im going to be using nitrous so i wanted looser and gap to compensate. main clearances were around .0015 and my rod clearances were closer to .002 i didnt mind little looser cause i want to spin the motor up to at least 8k

Although your ring gaps could sound wide, I'd rather have a little blow by, than have the ring ends but together- any day of the week...ask me how I know.

What did you do for the oil system- pump, passage pnp?

Spirolox vs. c-clip. I could have used the 'lox, but how the hell do you get them back out? Anyway, a week and a half later I got the c-clips, but they still didn't quite fit. I was told to work them in like the 'lox. Double spirolox on the inside, double c-clips on the outside. Now I have a short block. Yey.

...new turbo- it should bolt in, no problem...
