Default LGT woes...

CEL code for misfire on cylinder 1, so I figured I'd get my local dealer to check it out while it was in for an oil change. They did a compression test yesterday on that cylinder = 70#...

called the dealership today, and they're saying I've got blow-by and carbon all over the top of my pistons (haven't seen it yet, but I'm going down there on Monday to snap some pics of 'em), and they're saying it needs new pistons and rings (400 for pistons, 135 for rings).

pretty sure I'm gonna go with CP pistons and rings instead, but I was wondering if any of you Suby Gurus would like to weigh in on it

Haha, should have bought American...

Me and Raf (ShockerGT) were told today that a full size Chevy truck (5.3L V8 ) would stomp us because it tops out at 165mph...

ouch... must be some kind of Legacy specific strain of the swine flu going around... a couple of other guys on LegacyGT.com have also had engine troubles recently.

as far as domestics go, I'm renting a G6. lol, I hope that qualifies, cuz I'd never want to own one!!

I thought you were having problems with your tensioner. Did you get those kinks worked out?
