Default New subie owner. help

Hi just bought my 2005 wrx sti a couple days ago, and i have some questions. Its been lowered and it makes a cluking noise when i first start to roll in 1st or reverse, should i worry? what should i check?. second i have ic water spray button but no resevoir where is it supose to go?

common problem with the blob eye sti struts the rear sturts are missing it felt cleaner best thing to do is clean and lub the shaft or buy after market ones

He's saying the stock struts are prone to clunking. The solution is to get aftermarket struts.

Go by S & R Performance. They have done tons of Subie work and can answer all your questions.

with something as simple as struts, do them yourself. Have your suspension aligned at S&R, though

ok. can the clunking of the strut happen when i shifting if not what should i look at. suspension seems tight im concerned its the drive line. it only happens when shifting and starting to roll. Again its a clunking sound

The intercooler water sprayer tank is in the trunk on the passenger side beneath the carpet. You will see a lid. Just open it and bam.

k since its happening when you shift it may be your rear diff bushings which could be going out. Those are prone to make a nice clunking sound when you shift.

I got these and I strongly recommend them, it got rid of my clunk when I shifted and made the rear end alot "tighter". http://www.turninconcepts.com/produc...d=24&osCsid=d9
