Engine Question
In the 2005 line up the standard wrx has a different block than the sti right?
Im from the honda crowd just wondering how bad is high milage in a wrx and what should i expect if a buy a 80000+ miles sti (comon problems, ect). Sorry for beeing a noob but there is a first time for everything.
Thanks in advance,

Yes different engine. WRX has EJ20 (2.0 liter) and STI has a EJ25 (2.5 liter)
Not a lot of common problems with engines... its the tranny you have to worry about.

no WRX has the same engine as the STI. even when the wrx bumped to the 2.5L in 2006, it is still an EJ255 (STI is an EJ257). minor differences but they matter and the ecu/wiring harness will need to be changed.
