yea i know theres not a lot of guys in this area that run these kind of setups... but this is a big scene on the west coast and i have been reasearching it for months stretched tires are quite common and dont look too vip'd out lol .... theres plenty of subies running stretched, not stretched all kids of flush setups and at a 35 offset its really not much different then a 9 inch wheel...

I notice a lot of you saying stretched tires "look" good, but have you done any research on what happens when you do it?

For example Jardine from NASIOC

Before

After

Also

It may look cool but it certainly doesn't mean you're going to get away with it 100% of the time.

No matter what, summer compound will give you significantly less grip on snowy/icy conditions...

I also believe he was running spacers without extended studs.

IMHO, theres nothing wrong with the whole "flush" look/style. I think many of the cars that do it look very good, but I absolutely HATE stretched tires. Hell I run 235s on a 7.5" wheel. 255s are definitely the better choice for a 9.5".

its pronounced Herrafrush

otherwise, I like it. I'll be running 245 most likely on my 9.5 in wheels. maybe 255, we'll see. I'd like a very slight stretch, makes for quicker turn in and steering response.
