Dyno tuning starts at $450 FOR THE FIRST THREE HOURS. For some reason you car takes longer than 3 hours, the charge will be 150 per hour.

I take my tuning very seriously and personally. Anyone who has been tuned by me knows that I do EVERYTHING to make my tunes PERFECT. I kill myself working WAY hard and long, so yes, I'm sensitive to comments that attempt to say that there is something wrong with my tuning.

Well, everyone ive TALKED to arent HAPPY and get retuned because your so damn safe with your tunes. Personally I get tuned to make power.. not to run stock times with 10 grand in my car... So ya, ill stick to my comment

 

dude you are a fuckin dick. every tuner has one or two people that are unhappy, but on the whole I always hear of people being very happy with Scott's tunes. If you want someone who is going to go radical and blow your engine the fuck up then by all means use someone else. I'm sure Scott doesn't want to be associated with that.

I dont want someone who is going to "blow my engine the fuck up". And I never said that. I understand there is ALWAYS someone who is unhappy. You need to realize also that no one down here really autox's, and that is what Scott tunes for. His tune is not based on up top power delivery for drag racing, but for all around safety. ---NOT what alot of people are looking for, hense why so many got retuned in Orlando by someone who drag races his cars, and tunes for that...

 

Let's see, first of all I don't auto-cross much, I road race and I have tuned plenty of "record-holding" drag cars too - the World's Fastest stock ej205, stock tranny, WRX that runs consistent sub 11.8's at over 120mph. *AND* has done so for nearly 100,000 miles on my tune. I also tuned the first vf-39 93 octane STi to go 12.2 at 112 (there have been more since, but I did one in 2004).

For the record, you can be MORE aggressive with an auto-x tune than a drag tune because it only has to be safe in 1st-3rd and can be "too aggressive" to run in 4th. I also have tuned a national championship auto-x car.

I can certainly make a "drag" only map that makes full power for one pass with a nice cool engine bay. However, if people don't ask for that they get a tune that should run problem free no matter what they want to do with the car.

And finally, as far as I know, there was ONE person who I tuned recently who got retuned by Gadiel, and he contacted me yesterday about me retuning it again.

First off, that wrx.. Its driver mod, not the tune. IF he is running a stock tranny and trapping 120...hes an amazing driver for not blowing the tranny to pieces.

I had the STI you tuned that made like 400whp at 22 psi at S&R... to 451 at 25 psi and it wasnt even pushing it. Personally i was disgusted with the tune. I gave S&R a BRAND NEW kit (that they had problems installing and cut up to make it work, A whole diff story) and a BUILT motor STI and you make 400whp? Come on now. After you tried tuning it, even tho it had a MASSIVE up pipe leak the first time, you "continued to tune til 2am on my car." You should have STOPPED and taken it off the dyno and they should have FIXED the leak. AGAIN. Instead you hand me back a half tuned car with a HUGE exhaust leak. Finally I bitch about it and Then when Bobby tells me they will fix it for free (which they should have anyway and I shouldnt have needed to bitch about it) You guys try charging me $650.00 for a 20 minute street tune, and to v-band the up pipe after it was all said and done. I had to sit there and argue with you 2 for an hour, SHOWED YOU BOTH the P.M from bobby saying to bring it up and it will be FREE OF CHARGE, and STILL I ended up paying $200.00 bucks that night for your lousy 20 minute tune. Personally I thought the whole ordeal was garbage, and THATS WHY I have hate towards your tunes.
