Default Im thinking about writing to project car

If you haven't read it, Project car magazine is where they try to build a car on a budget. So why not write to them about my under 2500$ build.
So far it goes
02 wrx wagon - 1600
Exedy clutch kit -275
5zigen fn01r-c (17x with 225s - 200
3 inch skunk 2 exhaust/downpipe - 125
GFB bov - free (traded for turbo heat shield)

I still need a retune and an up pipe which i think i can swing for the remaining 300$.
I don't know about the vf39, i wants one but i has no moneys left.

you can usually get a used sti or 06/07 wrx uppipe (no cat) for less than 100. An open source tune by local guys or even xpt is usually less than 100 aswell... I've seen VF39's as low as 250 on Nasioc... so you could maybe do those three things for ~450...

Project car usually sources out the builds from a shop up north. They do the builds in house, take pics and document the info for the magazine. So im sure there gonna turn you down buddy. but hey its worth a shot.

I got mine for $40, which is the normal going rate.

Well i mean just write in a letter for the back pages. They usually have a fan mail every once a while with a picture.
I saw an up pipe go for 25 with heat wrap a few days ago. Saw headers and an up pipe go for 100 too. Should have jumped on that header/uppipe deal...
I defiantly need a tune though.

If I had the jumpers req'd for flashing/tuning 02-05's I'd help you out... however I might be getting them, so if you want pm me and maybe we can work something out.
