Wow that was a lot of bs, you guys sound like 2 girls.

Yes I went to the track today and I had nothing but issues. I could not get a good launch and I could not find 3rd gear :LOl: to top it all off I am not sure how much boost I was making because the brand new prosport guage I bought is not working.... I kept the boost setting lower just to be safe.
The car is a totally new car at the track for me.when I finally got a good 60' ft of 1.7 I got locked out of 3rd. So in short the track turned out exactly how I expected, me getting owned by the new setup but at least I know where to launch now I'll be going again friday night for some more seat time. I didn't event put race gas in because my driving, I figure I'll just pratice on pump until I get it down. So in short ill be hitting the track a lot now so I can get used to the car now.

 

I think I just checked this thread 30 min ago and it was on page two. Damn.

 

Do you have any good trap speeds? I wanted to go too to run my 11's, but I didn't get up in time. Plus it's hot as balllls outside.

 

Now you know how I felt jumping into my set up . I kept getting locked out of 2nd. Im sure you will get it tho. What clutch are you running?

3rd got me like 3 times, then I hit fuel cut on 2 seperate runs. I'll have to look at the slips bet i'm pretty sure 113 was my best trap yesterday

 

Yeah it was super hot and muggy as hell. I don't think I will ever go back to the track again on Saturdays especially with the summer heat and humidity. It was about 98degrees without humidity and there was a bunch of 8sec alcohol drag cars there making the track even hotter. I'll be out there Friday night if you want to join, weather should be much better
