might be back!
So with the evo killed
I am thinking about picking up another STi. I will say of all the Subaru's I have had, I miss my 07' STi the most. I have a few cars in mind to get but havent decided yet.
I was out today and couldnt find a non-08' STi anywhere (except for audi dealer, but that was 04').
Here are the cars I am thinking about. Lend me your thoughts:
05-07' STi
Evo IX (I miss her)
New Challenger
New Camaro
Lotus Elise
Audi S5
Shelby GT500
Corvette C6
I know there is some jumps in price, but essentially the cheaper cars will just get crazy mods out the door.

Great list of cars...That would be a tough choice for me. The Challenger and Camaro are overpriced at this point and very heavy. Although the V6 Camaro is getting very, very good reviews and its relatively cheap. We all know about the STi and EVO, no brainer there...good cars. I LOVE the Elise. I almost bought one about a month or so ago but just couldnt work out a decent deal on my trade. It's a fricken go-cart, not overly fast in a straight line, but handles like a dream. The S5 is awesome but VERY pricey. But it you want a luxury AWD drive car with great performance, you've nailed it in the S5. You know it's funny I dont know alot about the Mustangs, as popular as they are because my dad had several stangs and they were all garbage so I've stayed away from them. The new one's definitely look nice though.
My favorite is probably the 2005+ Vette. Man, what dont you get with that car? It looks awesome, actually looks very nice inside as well and the performance potential is off the charts. It's fairly pricey but not awful.
After the Vette, Id go with the Elise

What happen to the Evo? From the list, I would rock the C6 Vette. I believe you can pick one up (brand new) for $40,000+tax, title, and everything at Stingray Chevrolet. Talk to Hurley on Mafia-motorsports.

I wouldnt DD an Elise. I drove one and it's far from comfortable for a daily commute. It's tight, loud, very hard suspension and kinda a pain to get into, especially for my skinny ass. It would be fun weekend car/track car though.
Looking at that list, here is my choice
Elise (only if it's a weekend car, if not then to the bottom of the list)
Vette
GT500 (only if it's a '10)
New Camaro SS
Evo IX
S5
STi
Challenger

you already have a nice DD in the 335. Get the elise, or better get an exige with more structural rigidity and the aero. If you want more power you can throw an aftermarket supercharger on it. I had a friend who had one of the original Exige S without the supercharger and owned it for a few years before sticking one on. Thing ran great, powerband was smooth, and it put down like 240 or 260whp.
C6 isnt worth it. C6 Z06 is built entirely differently from the ground up than the regular C6. Go Z06 or go home.

The elise is scratched as there is no way I could do 40+ miles each day for work in that. lol
I will keep everyone posted. I really want to get an STi but I cant seem to find any around us.
