6 months ago : "Sweet, these heads look redone and they're already attached. The valve lash is within spec too."

Fast-forward to today, after 6 months of very detailed re-assembly and care while preparing this car for resell, and $2300 additional spent.

Well...

It idled fine once I fixed the IAC. Zero CELs. Purrs like a kitten.

Drove it around the block a few times, fine. Continued around larger blocks which incorporated streets where I could get on the gas a little. After a few half-throttle pulls which felt pretty weak or so, CEL comes on. Misfires.

Reset ECU

Perform same test. Feels weak. CEL. Misfires.

Pull car back in.

Compression test today:
