Default Shop to install parts for protune...

So it looks like I'm getting a Gadiel tune on May 16 and will need a shop to install the following parts for me:

1. aps turbo inlet
2. prodrive bsc
3. walbro fp
4. deatschwerks 750cc
5. forged pitching stopper

I realize that none of these are terribly complicated, but I do not feel comfortable doing any of this myself. I have my talents, but mechanical work is not one of them

You probably can do the fuel pump yourself. Its probably the easiest mod.

I can help you if you want. Just PM me

Just ask the local tampa community and bring a case of beer and some food. I'm sure someone will gladly help. I'm not in tampa or I could, but I don't have tools in tampa either.

Aps turbo inlet pretty much requires the removable of the intake manifold, thats alot of complicated work to rely on a local guy to do, much easier to pay s & r performance to install that. $225 to install the aps inlet. Not sure of the rest. Give them a call.

You are going to have to install the bcs at the place you get it tuned. You CAN NOT drive it with your current map (no you cant just be careful or "stay out of boost" it wont happy, you will overboost every time you step on the pedal). The wastegate duty cycles have to be lowered A LOT for it to run. Luckily it takes like 5 mins to install and only requires a wrench and some plyers (or atleast thats all my grimmspeed one did).

Other than that, those are shitty mods to work with... I'm with Matt, I hear good things about S&R...

Oh thats the hard turbo inlet. Yea, thats a bitch and it's not even worth it. Sell it and get a perrin turbo inlet.

^ I believe Perrin no longer makes them anymore, you would have to find used. Also, it may be a bitch to install, but it looks so much nicer under the hood, and you having a limited, I would want even better looking. I suggest the APS inlet, it comes with absolutely everything you can think of. Zip ties, custom fitted hoses for the whole install, FPR relocation kit pretty much, all clamps, blah blah blah. Do it!

If you have a Subaru in the Tampa area you should be taking your Subaru to S&R

you won't really see any gains form that inlet on the stock turbo so you don't need to worry about it too much.

If you are going to be in Tampa lmk and I can put the rest in for you quickly. I think Racer X- Frank is closer to you and i'm sure he can also do those for you. LMK though.

I appreciate the offer to help Joe. My dilemma now is once I get the stuff installed (would have to be next weekend), how do I use the car with those mods untuned to get to work M-F...meaning until I get tuned on the 16th?? ARGHH! Plus if I drive to Tampa next weekend and you help me out, I have to drive back to Sarasota too. That's a lot of driving to do out of boost. I'm so paranoid about my motor!
