Does it go away when you let off the clutch?

07 WRX should be push type, and Subaru's track record on push type involves lots of squeaks from the release fork. Sometimes even with a good release bearing you'll still get just enough wobble on the fork to make a fast-paced cuckoo-clock sound. Anyone who has had an older RS or Legacy can tell you the same.

the sti did it when it got older i sprayed some wd40 on the top of the fork but dont let it drip down into the case... it only last for a few weeks then would go back to squeaking so just do what i did get a louder exhaust and you wont hear it
