yeah, that guy had come into the built motor section asking for some input on cams capable of 9000+rpm...of course that turned into a discussion as well.

I have really mixed feelings about this car.
On one hand, obviously, it's awesome that he's done most of the work himself. And obviously he has an impressive parts list and pictures of everything.
On the other hand, the majority of the wow factor comes from his wallet capability and the car looks to be an absolute nightmare to maintain the way he's approached it. That engine bay will be a total clusterfuck situation at the track for even a small problem needing to be fixed.
We'll see how this pans out in time, but I suspect 2 years from now he'll look back and realize that he approached this the wrong way.

It will be a maintenence nightmare, you constantly have to check literally every part on the car to make sure it is working fine... That's one of the reasons I was glad to move away from the subaru. Once I got one thing set and done another problem popped up and it felt like it was never going to end.
