Anyone know of a place to do a good paint job for about 2k for just exterior java black.

 

my BMW is getting painted at Steve Carroll's Paint and Body right now. Guy is very knowledgable and has a very nice PPG paint booth. I believe his paint jobs are somewhere around $2k (maybe a little more)

My brother owns a very high-end paint & body shop. He regularly does work for high end dealerships (Porsche, Merc, BMW), antique hot rods & collector cars, etc. My friends can get a perfect PPG paint job for just about 2k, slightly more for the JBP paint (whatever it costs). I've never seen better work than his, and I don't profit in any way from passing the referral.
