yea dude dont waste money on a tmic they suck and it is worth it to go fmic even on a vf39 theres logs that prove that the spool isnt far off you wont even notice is driving

I found out that the previous owner of my car put a Perrin Up-Pipe on it, so i'm sure that reduced spool time dramatically. I was looking to do VF22 with the frontmount. seems to be a good setup.

^ Good choice. Port and Polich is your friend on the vf22 also header or at least cross pipe. You will need a upgraded IC, injectors,and fuel pump to do it right

Not true, FMIC makes a difference no matter what, and makes working under your hood easier.... you don't need an APS dr725 for a VF-39 or VF-22... the *sigh* SSAC core should be fine

Yeah! ssac is fine.I got 16g with 4k and modded WRX injectors ,i'll sell those cheap hit me up.Also I ran a Fmic on stock turbo for a lil bit it help a lot its all about getting colder air into ur engine.

i think if you were tight on money, going with a bigger tmic wouldnt kill you. there are people running stock location 35r's with a tmic. not saying thats smart, but if getting a front mount is gonna break you, you would be perfectly fine staying with a top mount. its a vf22, nothing close to 35r.

of course a tmic is perfectly fine, but if he's upgrading from a WRX tmic, it would be pointless to even buy an STi tmic if he can get a fmic for little or no more money...
