well there are a few good stock subaru flanged turbos that are good, but most of them are more expensive when compared to a t3 flanged counter part.

although im not sure what clearance issues you may have some good size upgrades would be
forced performance: Green, or Red
Blouch: Dom 3, Dom 4
Element Tuning: Gtxx

im pretty sure there are more out there. All of the listed turbos will produce 350whp

I would if not too expensive, switch over to the garret t3 style flang to get more options at better pricing.

OR you can just go with another VF series turbo. I would stick to the VF22 as it seems to be the best of them all....

why would he want to do that? $700 for barely an upgrade?

spend the money and get something nice. 20g, FP Red, FP Green or any equivalent to one of those.

PNP vf22 would be a decent step up on meth

but it really depends on his goals...

I couldn't understand the question... I keep getting distracted by the signature.

I agree, especially considering the size of his motor; he's going to have a lot of fun trying to spool a green, whereas the VF22 on meth will be a low-midrange beast and still put you back in the seat higher in the RPMs.

for the cost of a PNP VF22, you could get a decent 16g, which IMO is a better turbo. Quicker spool with the same amount of power. Plus if anything goes wrong, you can fix a 16g. If something goes wrong with the VF22, your out a whole turbo.
