Very nice 
The '08 is a nice progression - they kinda remind me of the FX (no one shoot me...lol) which I have always loved... being a Subaru makes it even better.
You're happy with Mastro? I only ask because I'm scared to death to buy a Subaru from a private seller - simply because they may not have treated it well. I figure Mastro probably inspects their cars thoroughly.
Plus they have a nice red '05 right now

Welcome to the 08 STi club, i have a LR one and love it. I've only tinted the windows, but have had an itch for a Cobb accessport, and T.B exhaust... The hatch rocks, i don't care what anyone says!

Congratulations! My silver 08STI is my first Subie and I love it. AEM cold air intake, Perrin header and complete catted exhaust + Scott Seigel tune = 376whp and 398ftlbswt! Next will be suspension mods. I'm leaning toward Whiteline swaybars, braces and supports, with coilovers (Tein?) to come later. Let me know what you do with yours and how it works out.

Well we say this anytime the Subaru changes body styles and looks, maybee the 2010 will fit your style better, or wait for the 2012
If STi's still come this way... 7K off MSRP kinda scares me into this way of thinking... Congrats to the OP on the purchase once again!

I like the 08 sti's the engines seem to be much revised the heads seem to flow better and the vvt on both intake and exhaust valves seems to be helping too.
I just dont like the back tail lights i think they should have been red and not altezza.

put a red vinyl over them, can be done easily for under $50 and it will make them look a thousand times better
