Note To Self...
So, me and my bro decided to go to a local Car show today, just for something to do. I heard about it from the local Audio shop I go to. I just got the new skirts on and the front end redone...the car was looking real good.
So, we get there at about noon and it was pretty slim except for a few cars from Team Profile. After about 2 hours there were about 20 cars parked in the area where the "car and truck show" was supposed to take place. I took a look around and it was pretty obvious I had a good chance to take best of show. There was a nice looking Del Sol there that was pretty clean, but really didnt see any other competition. So I paid the $20 to enter the competition. Even if I didnt take best of show, I KNEW I would at least place in the class.
After waiting nearly 4 hours they finally gave out the awards and low and behold I didnt even place; not even 3rd place. WHAT A BUNCH OF BS!!! The winners were all in Honda's and all from Team Profile. I have no idea what the hell happened. I'm assuming the judges just didnt have a fricken clue what a Subaru is.
So, note to self...dont enter a car show unless there are other Suby's and where the judges arent "stereo" guys but "car" guys.

yeah i only entered my car in shows like twice...ever... given you do have many more exterior mods than me, its still all about who has the most crap stuffed into their car (whether its cleanly done or not)

i once enter in a mainly mazda car show and i won first place for non-mazda car.
best part, my car was compelelty stock except for just a hks catback.
i got trophy and everything...
maybe they thought i added myself the spolier, bbs, brembos, etc...

I entered my car into a JDM themed show and lost. I guess that is just the same, I am not JDM enough.

crap happens unfortunatly. shoot everyone was very upset about hin this past weekend. the reason to compete in hin is because they have proper NCCA judges, rulebooks, score sheets and know what is what. well apparently they couldnt afford the ncca so had some random guys judging where they simply put notes on a blank piece of paper. no idea what beat me so i cant be too mad (though we saw nothing that could) but there were a number in other classes that in no way should have won even if hell froze over
