hey all. i just got new tires and noticed a vertical hairline crack on the inner lip on one of my rims. I found a shop....glenns wheel and polish and said they can fix it. any other good spots around tampa/new port richey?

btw rims are rota g force 17''..... anybody has a used one?

i might just get a new rim...probably the same price range to fix.

 

its like 50-75 bucks to fix ( was 3 years ago ) he does great work i always went to them

 

I would go the safe route and buy a new one, but if you have to fix it, use glens, his work is amazing.

 

i called him and he said 100-150 depending....plus i have a ton of road rash on that particular rim.

so 100-150 to fix or 160 or so for a new one.

 

New one.

 

yeah buy a new one. although fixing it might make it look like new,the wheel is already weak by having that stress crack on it.
