Installing perrin inlet.....

Default Installing perrin inlet.....

so I picked up a brand new perrin inlet for 125, my stock one has a tear. how long did it take you guys to install your inlets if you have? any tips to make it easiest?

hour or two at least. it sucks. easily the hardest thing out of my whole turbo kit. use some sort of lubricant, makes it a bit easier to shove under the intake manifold. might even be worth it to just remove the intake manifold. but it can be done without of course.

took my 25 mins at the most make sure you dont have anything sharp in the way like brackets bolts etc... use lube and lots of it and shove it in if you have a 2.4" inlet then its cake mines a 3"

it seems like a hit or miss thing because i've seen some people say they have it done in 45 min and others 4 hours

yea try it without removing the intake manifold cause that is so annoying to take it off

yeah it took me like 45 minutes to install my gimmick inlet. Not hard, hardest part for me was trying to get the old inlet out. The tabs make it difficult to get out, but since it is fucked anyways just cut the tabs off.

like everyone (mostly) said its pretty easy. the aftermarket ones don't have the stupid tabs the stock one does so it goes in nicely. You can do it without lubricant if you don't have it, but it definitely makes it easier.
