My hands are free now, lol. A stock c6 z06 with mickeys will hand any Subaru on these boards its ass in a race, straight line or not lol. Unless there is a 10 sec Subie that is anorexic and has severe aero work done that i'm missing, lol
And even if you had a 10 sec Subie, the z06 could then spend $600 and throw a 150 shot on...lol. Anyone thinking of investing that much money in a subie just for grins and giggles and not advertisement or business either a) has lots of $$$ and doesn't care about wasting it or b) has lots of money and doesn't mind wasting it ...lol or c) has lots of money and has a z06 already

LD where is the $42k in mods in your car? Do you have 14k gold coilovers and a briefcase full of hundreds under your seat?

$42k in to it... probably $5k or so of that is brake pads and tires lol...

wowsers.....I guess if I add up retail prices on all my mods it would add up pretty high but I know I haven't spent that much, lol. I wonder if I added up for all 4 subies........

well i didnt separate price and labor lol, it was basically all labor. about an hour of that was reorganizing some wires so he can pull the intake manifold off in like 20 minutes next time

thanks Joe, atleast theres one other person on this forum that understands that a Subaru is probably the most rediculous candidate to build a drag car with. It cost 10x as much to make half the speed as in a z06 or basically any other car, haha. its also kind of ironic that were both at the strip the most trying to pull every last .01 out of our cars,

BTW, hows everything coming along with your build right now? havnt seen your car or talked to ya since we had the last subie meet out @ BMP when you were pulling low 12's i believe with stock turbo.
