Default p2096

P2096 Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too lean Bank 1.

i posted a thread about this code during the summer. all the answers went to my rear o2 being bad. i replaced it and it went away till last monday. i erased it and then it came back sunday. im not sure if it is the heater element going bad with the new one or what. right now im just trying to think what everyone might think what it could be.

Did you replace it with a generic brand or OEM Subaru one?

if you have an aftermarket exhaust then you might want to have a delete put on or the light turned off. it will keep coming back otherwise. i even doubt the other was bad.

you need to have the code turned off. when a code is disabled they dont pop cels.

Dont put a resistor or block of on it because for the 32bit ecus they still use the rear o2 for some of the learned afr's to that could make you run rich or lean i dont remember I think it was rich though.
