Team WRC Kit for my suby?
I say do it man. It looks awesome. lol
Here are some more of mine after I put them on:

I loved the look and it did turn heads. I can say I also never got any negative comments. As for holding up, depending on the vinyl used in the kit it can last for years. I made my own with my equipment and I used only the best 3m vinyl, it held up and protected the paint.
I took it off for a few reasons:
1) It got to be a pain with people wanting to take pics of the car and always asking questions. I would go out to dinner and kids would run up with a million questions and want to take a picture while sitting in it. lol Its not a promo car.
2) I took a new job at the time and I needed my car until my company lease was ordered. And they didnt feel my car fit in with the corporate look. lol

Also keep in mind it may actually "protect the paint" too much. If left on, the exposed paint fades, and you'll end up with a ghost image of all of the decals once removed. This process can be slowed down of course by keeping the car out of the sun as much as possible.

I think i'll do it when it is closer to rally than where I'm at right now. Those graphics do look sweet, and major kudos on doing it yourself. That is killer. I found lots of kits on the internet but I think i'd rather do it myself too.
What kind of tools do you need to do this yourself? I'd love to self promote my company in a rally-spec sort of way.> Just the advert I need right now $$$$
i prob wont get as much curb appeal b/c i'm the older bug eye.. but you never know! I think it would be worth it -- at least for advertising sake.
obviously if i do it myself they will hold up -- you were burried lol
The car is garaged, will I have much trouble with sunfade?

It usually takes a while for it to happen, being garaged should slow the progress, and because the car (and paint) has been around a while, it shouldn't affect it as much. It's just something to be aware of.

so what kind of tools do i need to make my own graphics?
Could i get colored sheets of sticker vinyl and print stencils onto them from my printer, and cut out with scissors / razor board?? Sounds do-able
