Default HELP ??? quick question

I have an injen cai, which can be used as the sri, since weathers been pretty shitty i was wondering is it possible to drive with the sri. I have been tuned for the cai though and was trying to really make sure cause i dont want to bother jeff aka snowmann please help me out here thanks.

you can but theres no point... the only way the cai will fuck up is if the filter is FULLY submerged under water

Agreed...as long as your fender liner is in good shape, you won't have any issues. If your fender liner is missing/really messed up, then I would switch it out just in case.

yep kyle is right... so many people get worried over CAIs, but you have to drive through a deep ass puddle and drown the intake to injest it. I've been driving around with a CAI and no wheel well with no problems

ohh... but even though i bought the hydro shield my car will feel like itll jerk, like waters surrounded the shield and no air is going through you know and also my house is somewhat near a flood zone kinda, but if you say theres no point i wont, but just to be safe, if i do switch, my engine wont blow up from leaning out or something even if it is tuned for the cai, sorry for the questions man, you know more than me haha
